You are welcome to the Department of Teacher Education, a Department that was created in 1962 with the mandate to produce teachers of high quality for the educational system in Nigeria specifically and across the globe generally. The Department, which houses courses across the undergraduate and the postgraduate levels, has creditably delivered on this mandate since its establishment and has been expanding its frontiers in order to deliver more.
