I am deeply honoured to welcome you to the Department of Early Childhood and Educational Foundations, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. I express my sincere thanks to you for visiting our site.

I will like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our department.

Vision: Our vision is to be a world-class research, resource and capacity building Department for the preparation of professional educators and early childhood specialists who are the real shapers of students and children’s future.

Mission: Our mission is to expand the frontier of knowledge through the provision of excellent conditions for learning and research and to provide a solid knowledge base and African cultural practices for the education of young children through research, documentation and dissemination of information and ideas.

We pride ourselves in dispensing professional knowledge, professional practices and professional engagements. The well-being of our students is central to our operations.
