On behalf of the Department of Science and Technology Education, it is my distinct honour and privilege to warmly welcome you to the University of Ibadan, the premier University in Nigeria. A New Standard of Excellence
In alignment with global academic standards and in response to evolving demands in science education, our department has recently updated its degree nomenclature. We now proudly offer the Bachelor of Science in Education — B.Sc. (Ed) across the following science disciplines: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics and Computer. This strategic realignment ensures that a minimum of 75% of each student's coursework is drawn from their respective cognate discipline, thereby meeting the stringent national and international requirements for qualification as professional science teachers.
